Periodontology is the field of study dedicated to all tissues surrounding the tooth that not only provide structural support but also establish a necessary biological seal in the bacteria-rich mouth.<\/p>

When problems begin to arise, we refer to it as gingivitis<\/b>. This is often characterized by bleeding, swelling, or mild redness of the soft tissues. <\/p>
