With the philosophy “Alone faster, together further,” we form a close partnership with your referring practitioner—whether a dentist, endodontist, orthodontist, or stomatologist. Through consultation, mutual trust, and shared expertise, we carefully coordinate every step.
As dentists, we are not always known for being everyone’s best friend. Nevertheless, we strive to prove the contrary and will do our utmost to treat you to your full satisfaction and make your visit to our practice as pleasant as possible.
To provide you with more insight into our methods and to guarantee the quality of care, we would like to go over our house rules. Please feel free to read this page carefully.
As soon as you make an appointment, by telephone or via email, you declare your agreement with the house rules below.
Appointment made? Then you declare your agreement with our house regulations.
In our practice, we work exclusively with treatments by appointment. This means it is not possible to drop by without an appointment with the intention of being treated immediately. Making and rescheduling appointments can only be done by telephone or at the reception desk. We are happy to remind you of your appointment via SMS; it is therefore important that your contact details remain up to date. We ask you to inform us if this information changes.
Please be sure to bring your referral letter, identity card, and potentially your medication schedule when you come for your first consultation.
We ask new patients to check in at least 5 minutes before the appointment so that the file can be created and the medical questionnaire completed. For the first visit to your dental specialist, you can expect the following: a review of the referral request, a medical questionnaire, a targeted clinical oral examination, and a radiographic examination, usually consisting of a series of detailed images.
If you have been referred for the placement of an implant, we start the consultation by taking a comprehensive 3D X-ray, after which we discuss our planning with you. Do not hesitate to ask for explanations regarding specific issues.
We are happy to think along with you to find a targeted solution.
Our appointment reminders via SMS cannot be replied to via SMS. You can contact us at our landline number or via email. The fact that we help remind you of your appointment is an additional service from our side. However, you remain responsible for appearing at your appointment. Cancellation cannot be done by email; cancellation is only possible by telephone.
Unable to attend your scheduled appointment? Please cancel it at least 24 hours in advance. This allows the specialist to have a free slot in their schedule again, making it possible to assist another patient. In this way, you help ensure that we do not lose valuable time that could otherwise be spent on another patient, and we will not be forced to charge a missed appointment fee.
If you do not manage to notify us in time, we will be forced to charge a compensation fee of 25 euros per scheduled 15-minute block.
Always try to be on time for your appointment. If this is not possible, try to notify the dentist as soon as possible and keep the delay to a minimum. When you are late, the dentist will finish your treatment later, which means all patients after you will also have to wait. You also like to be helped on time, don’t you?
If you arrive very late, the dentist may decide not to proceed with your appointment. In the event of repeated lateness, no new appointments will be given.
It naturally happens that a treatment takes slightly longer than planned. Therefore, do not worry if you are waiting in the waiting room. Consider that if you were in the chair, you would also want the specialist to take the necessary time to perform the treatment as well as possible.
We thank you in advance for taking this into account.
Congratulations! If you are (possibly) pregnant, please always clearly report this to your practitioner before the treatment. This allows us to optimally tailor our care to your situation. Most treatments can be performed perfectly during pregnancy without risk to your child.
Please always report this to your dentist before the treatment starts. Some medications can have an undesirable influence. Changes in your medication schedule should also be reported to provide you with the best care.
Please note that we work as a team with your referring dentist (or dental specialist). Good communication is therefore paramount. In consultation with your referrer and depending on the established dental situation, we advise coming for a check-up at least once a year. During these follow-up appointments, your teeth will be checked, tartar removed, and additional radiological information will be collected on a regular basis. This information is then always shared with your own dentist. If you would like to stay informed yourself, we can forward the referral email to you.
After each treatment, payment is settled immediately; this can be done in cash or via Bancontact. For everyone’s safety, we ask that you pay with Bancontact as much as possible. In the absence of payment, a bank transfer form may be provided. Payments by bank transfer must be made within 10 working days. In the absence of timely payment, an additional 25 EUR in administrative costs will be added for every 10 working days overdue.
Our dental specialists work according to the latest insights, using innovative materials and equipment. To continue guaranteeing this, they constantly undergo (inter)national training. We can only provide this high-quality care on a non-conventioned basis.
However, we cannot provide a guarantee on procedures and treatments. Although we do our utmost to achieve the best possible result, there are always factors beyond our control that may influence the result or durability. We are happy to go over every future treatment plan orally. After your agreement, an overview will be prepared and provided to you. We ask you to sign this estimate.
The dentist cannot be held personally liable for any errors in the workplace, as they act on behalf of their company, which is mentioned below.
